FUNAI Extends Post-UTME Registration Deadline 2017/2018

As a result of noticeable technical hitches encountered by some candidates in the course of registration, the Management of Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (FUNAI), Ebonyi State, has extended the ongoing registration for the 2017/2018 post UTME Screening exercise till midnight of Wednesday, 13th September, 2017.

Nevertheless, examination dates remain the same. Candidates are therefore advised to print-out their registration slips from the portal to know the actual date and time of their examinations.
Note that the University will not be held liable for any payment made after the close of registration on Wednesday, 13th September, 2017, as there will be no refund.
In addition, candidates are also informed that the entire 2017/2018 post UTME screening exercise shall now take place at the University’s Computer-Based Test (CBT) Center situated at the take-off site, University campus, Ikwo. Earlier announcements on different venues for the exercise should be disregarded.

I don't want to live up to 120 years- RCCG GO, Pastor Adeboye says

The General Overseer Worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RRCG, Pastor Adeboye, says longevity is a good thing but that for him, he does not want to live up to 120 years. The clergyman who turned 75 in March this year, said this while delivering his sermon at the birthday service for Pastor Yerima El-Samaila of the Faith Foundation Church, who turned 70 years on Monday, September 4th. “It is not how long you live but how well you spend your life,  I don’t want to be 120 years old. Longevity is good but there is a limit. People don’t want to die because they don’t know where they are going; I know where I am going. I have seen heaven, I have seen my house in heaven, I know what is waiting for me there, heaven is beautiful, and I can’t wait to go there. Non-Academic Staff Of Universities To Embark On Indefinite Strike Next Week

Non-teaching staff of Nigerian Universities under the auspices of Joint Action Committee says it will embark on an indefinite strike from Monday, Sept. 11 over non-implementation of the 2009 agreement. The union comprise the National Association of Academic Technologists, the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions, and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities. A statement jointly signed by Mr Sani Suleiman, Mr Chris Ani and Mr Samson Ugwoke, Presidents of NAAT, NASU and SSANU made this known in Abuja on Wednesday. Ugokwe said that the Federal Government was taking the non-teaching staff of universities for granted as it had breached the implementation of the agreement of 2009 and Memorandum of Understanding signed with JAC in January 2017.
