2018 World Cup Qualifier: Governor Udom pays a surprise visit to Super Eagles team ahead of Cameroon clash in Uyo (Photos)

Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom state on Thursday evening paid a surprise visit to the Super Eagles team ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifying clash against Cameroon today.
The governor met with the players to offer them words of encouragement and charged them to conquer the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon at the Uyo stadium.

Nigeria will host Cameroon, the reigning African champions at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, today before flying to Yaounde for a return leg on Monday.

The inaugural meeting of Northern Governors' Forum and Northern Traditional Rulers Committee meeting on Restructuring is presently holding in Kaduna state. News  gathered that Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal is chairing the meeting on restructuring. The committee is expected to aggregate views from Northern Nigeria on their position as regards restructuring and submit a report to the NGF. The meeting has in attendance Northern governors and Emirs who have been tasked to discuss the growing agitation for restructuring.

Heartbreaking photos of little girl battling with cancer of the eye in Adamawa state

The little girl pictured above is currently battling cancer of the eye. According to reports, her parents noticed she started having issues with her eyes shortly after birth at their village in Tola Binyeri in Mayo Belwa local government area of the state. She had a little opening which began to get wider by the day. She was taken to the hospital where she was diagnosed to have cancer of the eyes. Her parents are said to be poor and cannot afford medical treatment.
