Bishop David Oyedepo and his last child, Joys Oyedepo turned a year older today, September 27. Joys took to her social media page to celebrate her "Daddio' on his 63rd birthday. It's such an honour and a privilege to share every birthday with my daddio, my most amazing father," she wrote. "As I step into every new year, hearing him pray over me, as I pray the same and more for him, fills my heart with so much joy. So, to my father, happy Birthday daddy! thank you for letting Mummy surprise you with me on same 27th! I love you so dearly -forever and always.

Ifeanyi Ejik , lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has sued the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai over Nnamdi Kanu’s alleged disappearance since a reported September 14, 2017 raid by the Army on his residence. In an originating motion filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja, Ejik wants the court to give an order mandating General Buratai to produce Kanu in court on his next adjournment date for the criminal trial he is facing in October. The motion has the IPOB leader as the only applicant and the Chief of Army Staff as the only respondent. Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has sworn-in Justice Opeyemi Oke as the Acting Chief Judge of the State. Ambode said the appointment of Justice Oke, as the acting Chief Judge of the State, was in line with judicial precedence and the long-aged tradition of succession, by seniority on the bench.
